This project will explore the information theory of intercellular communication in plants. The candidate must have a strong publication record in information theory, probability, and mathematical modelling. Knowledge of biology is a significant asset but not a requirement. The candidate’s doctoral studies should be substantially complete (e.g., initial thesis defence completed) before the start of the fellowship.

To join the lab as a graduate student, please apply for admission to the MASc or PhD program in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
